What to Expect at Your First Visit
Dr. Wendling, Dr. Perry, and Dr. Nolan personally evaluate every new patient. This isn’t a quick intake appointment. We take real time to walk through your options, answer questions, and make sure you feel confident in whatever direction you choose.
For patients where both braces and clear aligners are viable, we go deeper, especially with teenagers, to make sure you understand the day-to-day responsibilities of each option before making a decision. The goal is that you leave knowing exactly what’s right for you.
When Should My Child Have Their First Orthodontic Visit?
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children be seen for the first time by age 7. As a general guideline, we like to evaluate kids after their front permanent teeth start coming in, usually between ages 6 and 10.
That said, not every child needs early treatment. If we see your child and nothing requires immediate attention, we’ll let you know. We recommend intervention only when it makes a meaningful difference.
Adults Welcome, Too
About 25% of our patients are adults. Healthy teeth can move at any age, and treatment can greatly improve both function and appearance. If you’ve been putting it off, the free consultation is a low-commitment way to find out what’s actually possible.
