How much does orthodontic treatment cost?
Treatment with braces or Invisalign can be as low as $150 per month with a down payment as low as $500-$1000. Actual costs depend on your specific treatment needs. We work with most insurance plans including Delta Dental, Blue Cross, Cigna, and Aetna. We also offer interest-free payment plans and work with financing companies like CareCredit, LendingClub, and Sunbit. HSA and FSA funds can be used too.
At what age should my child see an orthodontist?
The American Association of Orthodontics recommends children be evaluated by age 7, when permanent teeth start coming in. That said, it’s never too late for treatment. About 25% of our patients are adults. Healthy teeth can be moved at any age, and many adult patients tell us they wish they hadn’t waited so long.
How long does orthodontic treatment take?
Most patients complete treatment in 12-24 months for braces or 12-20 months for Invisalign. Phase I treatment for younger children typically lasts 6-9 months. We’ll give you a personalized timeline during your free consultation based on your specific needs.
What's the difference between braces and Invisalign?
Both options can achieve excellent results. Braces work continuously and are often best for complex cases or younger patients. Invisalign aligners are nearly invisible and removable, but require wearing them 20-22 hours daily.
